Volunteer housing

Accommodations

We provide a two-story house with a kitchen, dining area, living room, and bedroom that can accommodate up to 10 volunteers. The house has running water, two showers, and a toilet. There are no lockers or security deposit boxes. Volunteers are required to maintain the house and treat it and each other with respect and consideration. Any volunteer we feel disrespecting our program may be asked to leave without notice.

Food service

Volunteers are provided with three meals a day, prepared in the typical diet of the Costa Rican family: rice, beans, tortillas, soups, vegetable stews, pasta, etc. Our staff will prepare meals with the assistance of a volunteer. All volunteers are required to assist with clean-up.
